Shrewsbury House is an academically rigorous school. The boys, from 7 -13, are able and will benefit from being stretched intellectually and nurtured pastorally.

    We are looking to appoint a committed, passionate mathematician to lead the Maths Department. The successful candidate will be an inspirational teacher and leader with strong motivational, communication, leadership and administrative skills and will have the ambition and drive to help the Preparatory School to continue its impressive development. The ability to teach pupils to Common Entrance and Scholarship level and willingness to be involved in the extra-curricular life of the School, are essential.

    We are looking to appoint a motivated, flexible, proactive and committed English specialist to join our dynamic English Department. The successful candidate will be an inspirational practitioner, able to teach English at KS2 and/or KS3. The ability to also teach history and drama would be desirable. The successful candidate will have the ambition and drive to help the school to continue its impressive development. A willingness to be involved in the extra-curricular life of the school is essential.

Experience in teaching Art is essential. A willingness to be involved in the wider teaching and extra-curricular life of the school is essential.

    Required for September 2017 to July 2018 - IAPS Day Preparatory School for 320 boys aged 7 - 13. Average class size 15. Maximum class size 18. c.43 full time teachers

    Shrewsbury House is looking to appoint several Gap students for the duration of the new academic year 2017-18 to be involved in supporting the following subject areas: Sports, Maths, English, Art and DT plus other subjects. They will also support certain year groups.

    The Gap students will also be expected to become involved in and provide support to the wider community of the school.
