On Tuesday Afternoon, two Year 6 boys took part in the Junior Travel Ambassador scheme run by Kingston and Sutton Council’s Sustainable transport team. The boys joined pupils from 15 other local schools and looked at various aspects of road safety and sustainable transport. They took part in discussion groups and looked at ways that we can reduce air pollution and try to get people travelling in a safer and more environmentally friendly way. The boys will now have the opportunity to feed back their findings to the rest of the school after half term. It was a very interesting and informative afternoon, as well as allowing us the chance to meet the Borough’s road safety mascot, Debra the Zebra!
