English Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover), part-time

Salary dependent on qualifications and experience

We are looking to appoint a part-time, highly motivated, flexible, proactive and committed English Teacher (fixed term contract, maternity cover). The successful candidate will be an inspirational teacher, with strong motivational, communication, coaching and administrative skills and will have the ambition and drive to help this department and the Preparatory School to continue its impressive development. The role is 24 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The ability to teach  a range of age groups and the willingness to be involved in the extra-curricular life of the School, are essential.

Director of Music

We are looking to appoint a full-time, highly motivated, flexible, proactive and committed musician to lead our Music Department and to teach pupils in Years 3-8. The successful candidate will be an inspirational teacher, with strong motivational, communication, leadership and administrative skills and will have the ambition and drive to help the Preparatory School to continue its impressive track record of musical excellence. The ability to teach pupils to a high level, prepare boys for Scholarship level and a willingness to be involved in the extra-curricular life of the School, are essential. The ability to accompany on piano is required.

Data Systems Operator

We are seeking to appoint a flexible and self-motivated individual to lead on the input, management and control of data related to the School’s MIS, future schools tracking and future school exams, assessments, testing and other systems that facilitate communication between staff and parents. This role is part-time (32 hours per week) and full-year.  The successful candidate will have good IT and communication skills and be able to work independently.
