STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) lessons – Year 4 boys are taught STEM skills where they develop their teamwork and problem-solving skills.

In addition, they experience designing solutions and testing their ideas – as well as evaluating their prototypes, learning through trial and error – in order to be better prepared to face real-life problems with more creativity, critical thinking and effectiveness.

It is becoming a cross-curricular subject which increasingly affords opportunities for our boys to enhance numeracy, scientific, mathematical and essential skills. One of the favourite tasks is bridge-building, using a range of materials.
