Having spent their previous Discovery Programme lessons learning about the history of the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT), the life of WWT founder Sir Peter Scott, and the publication of ‘Lost Words’ by Robert MacFarlane, Ernest A, Max B, Declan M, Elliot M, Kevin R and Thomas S visited the WWT London Wetlands Centre to choose a ‘Lost Word’ and a species that they would like to write a poem about.
