Discovery Programme Outing to the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust

Having spent their previous Discovery Programme lessons learning about the history of the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT), the life of WWT founder Sir Peter Scott, and the publication of ‘Lost Words’ by Robert MacFarlane, some of our students visited the WWT London Wetlands Centre to choose a ‘Lost Word’ and a species that they would like to write a poem about. Here are some photos of the students and their Discovery Programme leader Dr Buckingham from Friday’s visit to the WWT London Wetlands Centre in Barnes, London.
