This week, in our Year 5 Life Cycles topic, there’s been a lot of excitement surrounding the arrival of our chicken eggs! Carefully moved to their cozy incubator on Monday, the boys have been eagerly watching in lessons, hoping to witness their hatching. Their patience paid off on Wednesday morning when we were greeted by 3 energetic chicks and by Thursday morning there were ten healthy and happy chicks chirping away. Once settled into their new environment, Year 5 (along with other year groups) will have the chance to handle the chicks during their science lessons.
