As Year 5 study their Life Cycles topic there has been a buzz of excitement at the arrival of our chicken eggs. The boys have been keeping a close eye on the incubators and on the live webcam in the hope of seeing them hatch. First one hatched then seven more by the end of the day with the final chicks hatching early the following morning! Once the chicks have become comfortable in their new home, the boys will have the opportunity to hold the chicks in their science lessons.
We are also looking forward to our butterflies hatching from their cocoons and releasing them in the playground together later this term.
