This week we have enjoyed Francophonie Day with a range of exciting activities to learn about the wide-ranging countries where French is spoken and the global value of languages. Events began with a fantastic assembly where Madame Houssaye and the following pupils, Yoonjoon B, Lorenzo B, Ollie C, Casper H, Alexander H, Joseph L, Beau P. Yigit P, Kevin R, Marcus S and James V, who explained the role of French around the world beautifully in French. This is no mean feat – it can be daunting enough to speak in assembly, let alone in another language!
For their French prep this week, pupils have created posters about Francophonic countries.
