Global Reef Marine Conservation Project

Year 3 were treated to a marvellous geography afternoon provided by Piers Baillie from the Global Reef Marine Conservation Project. The boys were fascinated by the wonders of a coral reef and marvelled at the photographs Piers had captured of the many creatures that make their home there. In turn, Piers expressed his admiration at the excellent geography knowledge shown by the Year 3s, in particular their identification of various ocean dwellers. We are grateful to Piers for taking time out from his work in Thailand to visit us. Year 3 are full of knowledge of the beautiful coral reefs and why they are so important to us.
