On the last week of the autumn term, all the boys gathered in the Pinsent Hall for the annual House Music Competition. With 45 boys entering the competition at the semi-final stage, the final consisted of 18 of the finest musicians the school has to offer.
This year’s contest was of a particularly high standard, with a number of boys playing pieces from above Grade 5 standard. The adjudicator for the competition was Mr David Milsted, Head of Woodwind at Oundle School. He gave a wonderful summary of the afternoon, commenting on the boys’ performance practice and high levels of musicianship.
Congratulations to the winner Conrad Lai, second place Ben Clarke and third place James Bell. It was a wonderful afternoon of high-quality music.
