We were delighted to welcome one of England’s World Cup Winning Cricketers, Jonny Bairstow to Shrewsbury House today. The boys were incredibly privileged to enjoy an assembly from one of the best cricketers in the world, who talked to them about some successes that he has enjoyed throughout his career but also the different challenges that he has faced, playing sport at an elite level.
Many of his stories aligned closely with the SHS values and Jonny was able to give many examples of where he has had to display great perseverance and aspiration in his life. After the assembly there was the opportunity for some autographs to be signed and photos taken.
