In Assembly this week, we explored what leadership means. Drawing on examples of inspirational leadership from history, as far back as Xenephon over 2500 years ago right up to the leaders in our School today, we discovered the key qualities needed and how many of these echo with our SHS Values. Our Head Boy Team explained how their leadership roles have developed their own skills this year, and encouraged those in younger years to put themselves forwards for roles of responsibility and to lead with humility, compassion, wisdom and kindness. A strong message which certainly inspired the boys to consider future opportunities.
