On Wednesday morning, the school was treated to a wonderful array of performances, on violin, cello and saxophone from a number of boys, several of whom were giving their first performance in front of the school. Arden L performed the mysterious “Black Cat Rag” by Craig Utting on violin. Gruffydd B-S performed the evocative “City lights” by Kathy and David Blackwell on cello. Edward A, also on cello, performed the tuneful “Patrick’s Reel” by Kathy and David Blackwell. Agastya K performed the evocative “À pas de loup” by Pierre-Max Dubois on saxophone. Jaiden P performed the ionic tune “Bare Necessities” by Gilkyson. Benji H finished the assembly by performing the foot tapping “Ragtime Dance” by Scott Joplin. Well done to all the boys for such confident performances.
