Pupil Voice Across the Trust

SHS Eco Committee members met up with JTA (Junior Travel Ambassadors) from the Rowans and the Eco team from SHPPS.

It was an insightful meeting where each school discussed their ongoing projects. The JTA’s from The Rowans have been busy encouraging pupils to either walk or cycle to school and if this is not viable, then to use public transport. SHPPS Eco Team has been busy sending the message of eating healthily, as well as avoiding food wastage. Children at SHPPS are encouraged to wash their hands before meals and most importantly turn the tap off after use to avoid wasting water. The SHS Eco Committee were proud to share details of their project involving collecting crisp packets which will be used to make blankets for homeless people.
