The School Council met to hear Mr Singh’s feedback from his meeting with them last term regarding plans around catering provision based on requests they had gathered from other pupils. The enjoyment of theme days continued with Burns Night, which was well received and there is much positivity around the planned Chinese New Year menu and the Sushi day scheduled for the second half of term. Council members also put forward further suggestions for consideration which they had received from their peers, fulfilling their obligations as one of the key information channels for pupil voice. In turn Mr Singh also shared his aspirations around our consideration of the environment, including how to work together to reduce avoidable food waste.
