We were delighted to host a special Ramadan Assembly last week, featuring insightful contributions from boys in Years 5-8. The assembly provided a valuable opportunity for our school community to learn more about the holy month of Ramadan. We explored the origins of Ramadan, explaining the lunar calendar and how the sighting of the new moon determines its annual date.
A particular highlight of the assembly was the discussion of Chelsea Football Club’s ground-breaking initiative in hosting an Open Iftar at Stamford Bridge. This event, which brought together people of all faiths, served as a powerful example of community cohesion and interfaith dialogue.
We are proud of our pupils’ engagement and thoughtful contributions to this important assembly. It served as a wonderful reminder of the importance of respect, understanding, and unity within our diverse school community.
