This year, Shrewsbury House are celebrating World Recycling day on the 18th of March. In the lead up to this, the Eco committee members held a whole school assembly where they discussed the benefits of recycling, the ways we can recycle and how slowly but surely we can make an impact to help improve our planet’s health.
Eco committee members from Shrewsbury House met Eco members from Shrewsbury House Pre-Prep and The Rowans where they discussed various ways to promote sustainable and clean ways of travelling to school. There were some fabulous ideas to help improve our environment so watch this space for some exciting developments in the coming term.
In addition, we are very excited to have planted 30 trees at the Shrewsbury House Sports Ground – we may not sit under their shade today, but they are there for posterity.
