Residentials, Trips and Tours

Boys will experience a rich choice of outings, residential trips and tours during their time at SHS.

Regular day trips are organised to support the curriculum across a number of subject areas.

• The boys will also participate in a number of days organised by senior schools, either subject days, or Prep School Competitions, such as quizzes.
• In Year 4, they enjoy a short residential trip during Expedition Week.
• From Year 5 upwards, all boys attend a full week residential trip as part of Expedition Week at the end of the academic year. Other residential trips such as the French Department’s activity-based trip to a chateau, the Classics and Geography trip to Sicily and Iceland, and music tours in Prague offer great additional breadth to the curriculum.
