In order to prepare for their topic on ‘cells’ this term, Year 7 were asked to construct a model of a specialised cell. The year group were asked to become an expert on one particular plant or animal cell, researching its organelles, specific functions and overall adaptations. They could create their chosen model using any materials, making sure it was 3-dimensional and not any larger than an A3 piece of paper; cells are microscopic after all!
The variety and quality of the models were absolutely fantastic, demonstrating lots of creativity and accurate scientific detail. Congratulations to the following boys: Hiro S, Thomas C, David K and William D-E. Sion P was awarded the overall winner – well done Sion.
