We are delighted to announce Shrewsbury House School have been awarded the Eco Schools Green Flag Award.
In order to honour our pledge to make our environment safe for everyone, the School Eco Committee have decided to collect used ‘aa’ and ‘aaa’ batteries. When batteries are not recycled properly, the chemicals can leak into the soil, contaminating it permanently. For this reason, we are asking you to send in any used batteries and the School will get rid of these safely.
The used batteries will be collected every Friday and the House that collects the most batteries will be rewarded.
