On a rainy Sunday in deepest Surrey, the SHS Singers travelled to St John’s School, Leatherhead, for the Surrey Schools’ Concert in aid of The Children’s Trust. The Children’s Trust is a charity which supports young people with brain injuries, aiding their recovery to full health.
The Singers were in good company with schools such as Notre Dame and Downsend also performing. Performances from the SHS Signers of ‘Give me Wings’, ‘The Rose’ with a solo by Eric Taylor and ‘Radioactive’ certainly impressed and delighted the supportive audience.
Several parents and teachers from other schools commented on the high level singing and commitment shown by the boys. Many congratulations to the SHS Singers on their efforts.
