Superb effort to the SHS boys who joined millions of pupils from 160 countries around the globe to compete in the world’s largest online ‘Mathletics Live’ competition this week.
The boys used their mental maths and arithmetic skills to solve as many problems as they could during the two days. They did a spectacular job, really showing what they are capable of and demonstrating superb perseverance.
We are thrilled to announce the success of our Year 8 boys who gained 2nd place in the country and 11th in the world! Some outstanding individual performances with the boys gaining 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th and 9th in the country and 25th, 27th, 40th, 72nd and 96th in the world.
Huge congratulations must also go to Year 6 boys who gained 4th place in the country and 32nd in the world together with Year 3 boys who also gained 4th in the country and 90th in the world.
