Year 3 went to the New Victoria Theatre, Woking, to watch ‘Horrible Histories: The Awful Egyptians.’
With much excitement, the boys boarded the bus to head to Woking. There was much chatter about what the show would include: Would there be mummies? Would there be pharaohs? Would there be songs or jokes?

When we arrived at the theatre, the auditorium was filled with other schools, all eager to see how this time period was going to be brought to life. Our boys engaged brilliantly, entranced by the set which included a digital projection of a moving Eye of Horus!
The boys laughed along with the very silly jokes as we learnt all about King Rameses II and how the Egyptians lived and died. As Year 3 had learnt all about the Ancient Egyptians last term, they really appreciated how the topic was turned into catchy songs – even with actions for us to join in with!
