Year 3 Trip to The Natural History Museum

Year 3 enjoyed a trip to the Natural History Museum to enrich their science learning. The boys somewhat wide-eyed entered the Hintze Hall, which displays the huge skeleton replica of Hope, the blue whale. Throughout the day, pupils enjoyed exploring the dinosaur exhibit, looking at the findings of Mary Anning and appreciating the varied and numerous rocks found within the earth. The ‘dino show’ was a great success where Year 3 went back in time in the David Attenborough time machine to discover more about the prehistoric animals and the world they lived in. Much valuable learning was absorbed during this exhilarating and fascinating day.
