A huge thank you to Year 4 and Mrs Ross for such a wonderful Assembly on Wednesday. As part of their PBL lessons, the Year 4 boys researched, designed and presented a marvellous Assembly on ‘The Human Impact on the Environment’.
The boys’ colourful and informative presentation covered a large number of important areas, including food waste, fossil fuels, deforestation, single use plastic, noise pollution in the oceans, palm oil, the importance of recycling and endangered animals.
Year 4’s ownership of the project was incredibly important: in researching and building their presentation they learnt about collaboration, the process of creating an Assembly, synthesising information and working together. Well done Year 4!
