The Year 4 boys worked incredibly hard on their acting and singing skills to produce a production that wonderfully encapsulated this adaptation of Kenneth Grahame’s classic tale. Whether it was through portraying boastful Mr Toad (or Toads in this case), Rattys, Moles, the grumpy badger, or any of the other wildlife and inhabitants of the wood, the boys showed real camaraderie and resilience.
They did a remarkably good job in learning their lines over a very short period of time and their singing was beautiful. We are very proud of each of every one of them; their filmed performance is indicative of their hard work.
Special thank you to the Year 4 Sport staff and English staff who supported the rehearsals, Mrs Cross as director, Mr Driscoll for the lights, the Theatre Club boys who designed the backdrops and Miss Barnes for her work on the music. Well done to all of the parents for providing such colourful and exciting costumes and a big well done to all of the Year 4 boys!
