Year 5 boys visited the beautiful grounds at Fishbourne Palace this week, home of Togidubnus, a local chieftain and Roman ally.
They completed work on the Roman mosaics and hypocaust of the Palace with a bit of dressing-up along the way! The boys watched a short film about the site before partaking in a Roman workshop.
It was a gorgeous sunny day so the boys enjoyed lunch in the grounds before a walk around the formal gardens, including the ancient triclinium.
