Year 8 travelled down the road to Kingston High Street to conduct a Geography fieldwork investigation. Blessed with glorious late summer weather, the boys collected primary data to explore the changing face of the UK high street. A land use survey, pedestrian count and a shopping questionnaire were used to assess whether Kingston High Street was thriving or struggling. A great opportunity to get outside the classroom and experience some real Geography! Over the coming weeks, Common Entrance candidates will use the data collected to write up a fieldwork project which forms part of their final CE mark in Geography.
