Years 5 & 6 compete in the National Science Quiz Club Competition

Four Year 5s and four Year 6s participated in the online area heat of the National Science Quiz Club competition. Divided into two teams, each team collaborated effectively, our teamwork intensifying as the questions grew more difficult and the points increased.

The diverse range of questions included, “How many planets have rings orbiting them” and “Who invented the first functioning television system?”. The quizmaster’s shoutout to our school provided the necessary boost to maintain our position in the top 22 and embody our school motto, ‘Alta Peto.’ Both teams should be very proud of their efforts in securing our place in the semi finals in January.
