World Book Day

What an amazing World Book Day we have had! It was wonderful to see such an array of costumes, from Highway Rats to wizards, via Paddington and dinosaurs! Not forgetting the Younger Years staff, who appeared as a whole host of Where’s Wally characters for the boys to find.
We started the day with an assembly, exploring how reading can develop into a lifelong hobby. Following that, the boys had a choice of story times from different staff in a range of locations. A wonderful excuse to sit back and listen to a favourite story.
The Younger Years finished their World Book Day celebrations with a parade in the sunshine, showcasing their team spirit and love of reading. As an extra special treat, Reception and Year 1 paired up with some of the Year 8 boys to share a story together in the afternoon. Happy World Book Day!
